Research Interests

Spanish
twentieth-century literature, especially of the period 1920 - 1936.
Within that period, I have concentrated generally on poetry and drama
and have focused particularly on Surrealism in Spain and the Canary
Islands; the cinema and Spanish literature; and the works of Rafael
Alberti and Federico Garcia Lorca. |
