My main areas of research are Chilean cinema, art film, film festivals, transnational cinema, and the novella. I am currently writing my doctoral dissertation on cosmopolitanism and cinephilia in four Chilean art films released between 2005-2015: Alberto Fuguet’s Se arrienda (2005), Pablo Larraín’s Tony Manero (2008), Alicia Scherson’s Il Futuro (2013), and Sebastián Silva’s Nasty Baby (2015).
