My main areas of research are Latin American literature and film. I am currently writing my writing my doctoral dissertation on cosmopolitanism and cinephilia in four Chilean art films released between 2005-2015: Alberto Fuguet’s Se arrienda (2005), Pablo Larraín’s Tony Manero (2008), Alicia Scherson’s Il Futuro (2013), and Sebastián Silva’s Nasty Baby (2015).
