Research

My primary research interests include Portuguese, Brazilian and Argentinian Literatures from Romanticism up to the 21st century. Particularly, I am interested in examining the problem of nationality and cosmopolitanism in the contemporary Epic and Mock-Epic Narratives.

Additionally, the problem of order / disorder in literature through the study of concepts related to science, philosophy, media studies, and literary criticism is of secondary concern to me.
