UCLA Humanities Commencement Ceremony
Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 1:00 PM in Royce Hall

Eligibility to Participate in Humanities

Students have to declare their degree expected term in one of the approved Humanities majors and minors by the end of Fall 2025 and no later than Summer 2026.

*Please note that for Fall 2026 candidates, students need to do a Special Inclusion Petition with the College of Letters and Sciences. Please complete the petition on my.ucla.edu to participate in the Humanities commencement ceremonies. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that these requirements are met.

Student Regalia Ordering

Students must wear regalia to take part in Humanities. Students can begin placing orders approximately in early March, and can be purchased through the UCLA store.

Ticketing:

Ticket orders for your guests will be open from Friday, May 8, 2026, to Friday, May 22, 2026 via http://my.ucla.edu.

• • You are eligible for four free tickets.
  • You may request up to an additional four waitlist tickets at $20 each. (Waitlist tickets are not guaranteed; you will find out if you receive additional tickets during the week of May 25, and the cost will be charged to your student BAR account.)

Please note that, as a graduating student participating in the ceremony, you will need to order a ticket for yourself — this is separate from the four free tickets you are eligible to receive. You can obtain your student ticket via http://my.ucla.edu.

UCLA Spanish & Portuguese Department Graduation Celebration

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation from UCLA! The Department of Spanish & Portuguese is incredibly proud of all of you— especially on Commencement Day. To mark this important milestone, the department will host the 2026 Spanish & Portuguese Graduation Celebration immediately following the Humanities Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

This event is organized and hosted by the Spanish & Portuguese Department for graduating students and their families. Please note that it is a separate event and separate RSVP process than the Humanities Commencement Ceremony.

All graduating students in the Spanish & Portuguese majors and minors, along with their families and friends, are warmly invited to attend. Please note that each graduate will be allowed to invite four guests maximum.

Graduating seniors participating in 2026 Commencement ceremonies must complete the full RSVP form, including guest information and dietary restrictions. You will also have the opportunity to upload a brief message and graduation photo to be displayed during the reception. There will be plenty of photo opportunities for you and your guests throughout the event. COVID:

• The Department of Spanish and Portuguese adheres to the UCLA COVID-19 website guidelines for our commencement ceremonies, which continues to recommend masking for indoor venues. The closest Parking structures for our graduation celebration are Structure #3 and Structure #5. Detailed Parking information can be found on the UCLA Transportation website.
