Professional Development Roundtable: The Qualifying Exam

We hope you have entered 2021 with a lot of health and energy. The professionalization series is back and our first event of the winter is a roundtable on the qualifying exam. So if you haven’t advanced to candidacy yet and have questions about it, we totally recommend you join the discussion. It will take place on Tuesday of week 5 (February 2nd) from 12 to 2 PM PST on Zoom (ID on the flyer, it’s the same as last quarter). Our colleagues Gemma Repiso-Puigdelliura (Linguistics), Esther Claudio (Spanish Literature), Isaac Giménez (Lusophone Literatures), and servidora de ustedes, Julia Calderón (Latin American Literatures) will have an informal chat answering all your questions about the examination and the materials.
