Research

My primary research interest is nineteenth- and twentieth-century Mexican literature and culture. More specifically, my interest is in the portrayal of women, the connection of the past and present in the formation of identity, and Mexican intellectuals.

I enjoy watching soap operas, singing, and writing about my personal experiences in my blog. I am a McNair Scholar.
